Jesus Winner Ministry founder, Pastor Edward Mwai, has abandoned a phone number he has used for over 15 years after being bombarded with over 5,000 abusive messages and calls from Kenyans.
The backlash comes in response to questions surrounding a Ksh 20 million donation made by President William Ruto to the church. Many Kenyans have been demanding clarifications on the funds, leading to relentless harassment directed at the pastor.
Pastor Mwai confirmed the move, stating that the overwhelming calls and messages made it impossible to continue using the number. However, he urged Kenyans to remain respectful and focus on spiritual matters rather than spreading hostility.
