President William Ruto has officially awarded a university charter to Riara University in a ceremony held at State House, Nairobi.
Speaking at the event, President Ruto reaffirmed the government’s commitment to supporting universities and other institutions of higher learning, emphasizing the crucial role of education in national development.
“The government remains steadfast in its efforts to strengthen higher education by ensuring institutions have the resources and accreditation necessary to deliver quality learning,” Ruto stated.
Riara University now joins the ranks of fully chartered institutions in Kenya, granting it the authority to offer accredited degree programs and expand its academic and research capabilities.
