Faith Karambu, 37 has decided to go back to primary school (class 8)in search of a brighter future. But now, she is in class eight at Kiegoi Primary School in Maua, where she hopes to sit for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in eight months.

“It was challenging, and I had to drop out of school even though I loved to learn. This is why I have decided to return to school and search for a brighter future for myself even as I set an example to my children,”

The mom of three, also lost her husband to throat cancer in 2019. Karambu is nowa class eight pupil at Kiegoi Primary School in Maua, where she hopes to sit for her Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams in eight months.
