Kakamega Homeboyz FC head coach Bernard Mwalala admits that there will be pressure when taking on Gor Mahia and AFC Leopards in their next two matches but believes that his players look forward to the two games.

Homeboyz will take on the two giants in two of their final four matches with the other two being against FC Talanta and Kariobangi Sharks. On Saturday they face record champions Gor Mahia away with a match against Leopards set to be played a week later at the Bukhungu Stadium in Kakamega.

On Sunday, the surprise league leaders, who boast of a three-point buffer at the top ended their five-match winless run with a win over KCB and Tusker’s barren draw against Nairobi City Stars helped the Kakamega based side create a three-point buffer at the helm.

Heading into what’s possibly their last tough two matches of the season, Mwalala admits there is pressure when taking on the two sides. He however believes that playing against Ingwe and K’Ogalo could spur his side as these are games that all his players are determined to do well. He believes that playing Talanta who downed them in the first leg will be a tougher assignment.
