Tharaka CDF Chair disqualified by IEBC from vying

Tharaka CDF Chair Kennedy Kamunyu(pictured with Tharaka MP Gitonga Murugara)has been disqualified by IEBC from vying as Marimanti ward MCA as it emerged that he did not resign before 9th of February 2022.Also,it is alleged that Kamunyu who has been the UDA’s MCA candidate for Marimanti ward did not renew his contract for the previous year in the office of Tharaka MP which means he might have been in the office illegally.
