So WWE founder and CEO Vince McMahon stepped down this week after Wall Street Journal published revelations that he had paid a former employee whom he had a sexual relationship $3 million (Ksh 300M) to buy her silence. Vince will however remain incharge of creative content as his daughter Stephanie McMahon takes over as CEO in acting capacity. Vince McMahon owns 48.09% of WWE and 81% voting power. His family dominates the top positions at WWE which includes Stephanie McMahon who is now acting CEO and her husband Paul Levesque (Triple H) who also holds a top position at the professional wrestling company. The stepping down of Vince McMahon is seen as inconsequential since he will still run the show behind the scenes.
