DP Ruto’s Kenya kwanza Tharaka Nithi tour in Tharaka was used by the coalition allied candidates to gauge their political superiority.
On Tharaka MP post, Incumbent Murugara face off with TSP’s Sabastian Mwangangi and JM Nyaga.
Senatorial post did not have much as only UDA candidate Mwenda Gataya was pr sent in the rallies.
However the greatest show down was on Woman Rep’s post where Susan Ngugi Mwindu of TSP greatly overshadowed Beatrice Kathomi of UDA.
Reading the situation on the grassroots, Rigathi Gachagua was forced to accept the will of people and asked residents to pick for themselves the woman rep they want between Kathomi and Susan Ngugi.
Thus from yesterday’s events, it is evident that the Clarion call for 6 piece suit vote pattern by UDA bigwigs may terribly fail as voters seems decided on their preferred candidates come August 9th.
