Murang’a Governor and Usawa Kwa Wote party leader Mwangi wa Iria has spelled out his preferred presidential candidate. Expressing his trust on Raila Odinga’s candidacy during a press conference today, Tuesday 19th July, wa Iria has urged the Murang’a voters to fully back Raila Odinga and give him 620,000 votes which will help him press Raila to be give him a Cabinet position if elected as the Fifth president of the republic of Kenya. This comes after his bid to quest to succeed President Kenyatta was ruled out.
He cited that this decision was as a result of Raila’s support and encouragement after IEBC ruled him out of the Presidential race and admitted that Raila requested him to join the Azimio side and also requested him to share with him his manifesto where in it his main plan was dairy farming with 1 homestead 1 cow agenda to the people.
According to Wa Iria, his deliberations with Raila will see the people of Murang’a and the whole country enjoy a lot of goodies among them being the 1 home 1 cow, Raila’s 6,000 a month stipend to the needy families, his own 4,000 towards the same, loans to the small-scale traders and seeds to farmers.
