With one day to election,Tharaka Nithi governor Muthomi Njuki has said that essential services providers in the County and especially those in Health department shall render services as usual on the election day to ensure residents don’t miss the vital services.Speaking during a church service at Chuka Catholic,Njuki said he has negotiated with the workers and thus residents in need of such a service shall be free to access them at their usual facilities.”We have asked our essential service providers to continue offering services like a normal day of work on Monday and Tuesday.We have excused other workers for only Tuesday to go and vote,” he said.Further,Njuki asked electorates to turn out in large numbers on Tuesday to vote in their preferred candidates.Karingani MCA Godfrey Murithi alias Gaturo on his part urged residents to observe peace and live in harmony during this electioneering period because peace is vital for such a time Other workers to continue operating on Tuesday include those in revenue department and town cleaners.
