Seven people died and seven others injured in a road accident in Longelded area, Samburu East, on the Isiolo-Moyale highway Yesterday.
The victims were heading to Leereta to celebrate the election win of an MCA candidate in the area, when the vehicle they were travelling in rolled off the road near Kalama Community Conservancy.
All the deceased persons died on the spot but the exact number of passengers that the vehicle was ferrying at the time has yet to be established.
