President-elect William Ruto today held talks with a Congressional Delegation from the United States at his Karen office, Nairobi.

The delegation was led by Delaware Senator Chris Coons. Coons jetted into the country on Thursday morning on the third stop on a five-country Africa visit.

“The talks touched on the just concluded elections in the country and areas of cooperation between Kenya and United States,” said Dr. Ruto.

“We commit to deepen relations and further partnership for the mutual benefit of the citizens of the two countries.”

According to the U.S Embassy in Nairobi, he was scheduled to meet Ruto, President Uhuru Kenyatta, and Azimio’s Raila Odinga. They were to discuss shared goals on health, security, and economic prosperity, said the Embassy.
