Mwangaza meets Matatu Sacco leaders and Taxi operators

Governor Kawira Mwangaza has met Matatu Sacco leaders and Taxi Operators from Meru in spirit of consultation in a meeting that involved County enforcement officers, National Government traffic and security officials.Addressing the gathering, Governor Kawira Promised to eliminate cartels and hooligans in our stages to ensure safe working environment in the matatu industry.The saccos in the transport sector will also be pre-qualified for county tenders to ensure projects are implemented by companies belonging to our people.Her government will have zero tolerance to corruption in the industry that has prevented growth of the “Hustlers” in the transport sector.
