Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has said sometimes he finds it hard to believe that they won the August 9, general elections, and hence became the country’s second in command.Gachagua spoke on Sunday during a thanksgiving service in Eldoret. He said there are times that he and President William Ruto think they are starring in a good dream, only for reality to dawn that they really are the head of the Executive arm of the government of Kenya. He acknowledged that there was a stiff competition during campaigns between the Kenya Kwanza Alliance and Azimio Coalition. The former Mathira MP also said it is unbelievable that the very officers who were sent to arrest him for graft allegations, are the same officers serving him as the DP.He further said as Christians, they were obliged to forgive those that had wronged them.
