Should we add extra Five counties?

A section of Legislators are pushing for a constitutional amendment bill seeking to add 5 additional counties in Kenya. Led by Kuria East legislator Marwa Kitayama, the lawmakers say the additional 5 counties will not further burden the taxpayers as it has a formula on revenue sharing but instead address the issue of historical injustices. The bill which has been tabled in parliament has already been assented by more than 60mps.
